Not only did Dylan and Ginny officially seal their love, care and commitment to each other with their amazing wedding ceremony, but they celebrated with their dearest family and friends the journey that brought them there, marking their 10 year anniversary.
When Cat and Evan first met, they both knew it was something special, that ‘too-good-to-be-true’ kind of special. But when it’s right – you just know. Here they stood at the stunning Rose Gardens in The Royal Botanic Gardens, before their amazing family and friends. They shared their moments of happiness and witnessed the start of their new chapter together with plenty of smiles, warm hugs, laughs and bubbly.
Monica and Alex first met at University while both studying medicine. As their chance friendship and bond strengthened, we’re reminded that we are all one decision or action away from a different life. Wendy and David started their big day with a special Chinese tea ceremony witnessed by their family, friends and the cutest little furry pomeranian. It is said a marriage may go through the following four ‘flavours’ - sweet, sour, bitter and spicy. David (along with his groomsmen) were tested on his ability to ‘cope’ with what marriage may bring. But with the already amazing 8 years together - they’re stronger than ever.
It is said that when penguins find their ‘one’, they stay together for the rest of their lives. “Because just like us they have soul mates. Their loyalty is fierce and their love unconditional. They will fight ferociously to protect each other and make for themselves and their partners, the best life possible”. These are the words Duncan vowed to Adelle.
When the night ends with a karaoke version of ‘Horses’ - you know you’ve had a pretty awesome celebration. The day kicked off with champers, laughter, the most adorable and giddy flower girl, a chilled groom Jake and the stunningly gorgeous bride Marissa. With the wind almost blowing away the guests (and at one point Marissa's veil) - no one was more blown away than Jake, seeing his beautiful bride for the first time.
As they say, “love isn’t perfect”, as echoed in Ciara's (bridesmaid) speech. So much so that, Jodel and Greg's very first impressions of each other were explained as, “some random guy” and “I didn’t really notice her”. But as destiny would have it, after a ‘few’ first dates and unknowingly becoming an item, but confirming it with Greg asking, “I don’t know, are you my girlfriend?” and Jodel replying, “well, yeh… I guess.” - they’re now Mr and Mrs (JLA)!
Their love for coffee and fitness brought these two amazing lovebirds together 5 years ago. Brandon was Sarah’s motivator, goal setter, guide and coffee runner aka her personal trainer - he said it was “love at first rep”.
While on their trip to Japan, John got down on one knee and popped the question to Marie under the amazingly spectacular cherry blossom trees. While they couldn’t bring Japan to them, they did bring a little bit of that loving memory and sealed their marriage vows underneath a cluster of pink blossoms.
Fouad promised Zhong two things when they started dating. Firstly, to tear down her walls and secondly, to write her a rap song. While the first promise was fulfilled during their ceremony when they said their vows and connected their hearts for eternity – we can’t wait for when the rap song drops (like it’s hot).
