While on their trip to Japan, John got down on one knee and popped the question to Marie under the amazingly spectacular cherry blossom trees. While they couldn’t bring Japan to them, they did bring a little bit of that loving memory and sealed their marriage vows underneath a cluster of pink blossoms.
Marie and John braved the rain to mark the special start of their journey together with an intimate Chinese tea ceremony and civil ceremony, warming the hearts of each other, their family and close friends.
