As they say, “love isn’t perfect”, as echoed in Ciara's (bridesmaid) speech. So much so that, Jodel and Greg's very first impressions of each other were explained as, “some random guy” and “I didn’t really notice her”. But as destiny would have it, after a ‘few’ first dates and unknowingly becoming an item, but confirming it with Greg asking, “I don’t know, are you my girlfriend?” and Jodel replying, “well, yeh… I guess.” - they’re now Mr and Mrs (JLA)!
Their love for coffee and fitness brought these two amazing lovebirds together 5 years ago. Brandon was Sarah’s motivator, goal setter, guide and coffee runner aka her personal trainer - he said it was “love at first rep”.
While on their trip to Japan, John got down on one knee and popped the question to Marie under the amazingly spectacular cherry blossom trees. While they couldn’t bring Japan to them, they did bring a little bit of that loving memory and sealed their marriage vows underneath a cluster of pink blossoms.
Fouad promised Zhong two things when they started dating. Firstly, to tear down her walls and secondly, to write her a rap song. While the first promise was fulfilled during their ceremony when they said their vows and connected their hearts for eternity – we can’t wait for when the rap song drops (like it’s hot).
We start at the beginning, “Matt had the proposal all planned out, wanting it to be by the rockpools so as to create a romantic memory… but with the emotion of the moment, while on bended knee, with ring in hand, all he could manage to ask was, “Hey Carly, do you want to get married?” Carly of course said “Yes” and the rest so they say is history…” says celebrant Lynette Parton.
